What I've been up to...

It's been a very busy time for me.  One of my babies graduated from high school, one turned 4, and all the obligations of making things work in this day and age have left me a bit tapped.  At the end of the day, I've been finding it challenging to create.  I've returned to working more heavily in wire.  I'm currently working with designs in steel to play around a bit.  Here are a few pictures of what's in store eventually when things all wind down and I can bring all that's in my head to fruition.

I've also created a web space outside of Etsy for my work.  I would love if people would visit and "like" my page if so inclined.  It's a work in progress but I hope you enjoy taking a look.

All in the Family

Thought you might like to take a look at my daughter's creation, a beautiful rendition of a lone echinacea flower.  I love this painting and wanted to share it with everyone.  Amy's 20 years old and I'd love to see her do more painting.  She's busy with school (she's studying to be a Nurse) and work (she waitresses and some people really are lousy tippers regardless of outstanding service).  This piece was created in Colorado 4 years ago.  It graces our living room wall.

I love the movement, the vibrance, the texture, the contrast, the landscape, the colors and just the sense of peace I feel whenever I slow down and take another look at it.  I hope you enjoy it as well.  Peace to all.
